Blind Fury, your best bet for New Hard Rock. Best Hard Rock Guitarist In The World.

The very first time I heard the sweet sound of my father's steel guitar is was what really started it all, I was only 4 years old at the time. He had a very unique tuning and playing style and there was something about the tones that he created that I just loved to listen too. He noticed how much I enjoyed hearing it so he brought the guitar home and set it up in my room. He taught me the steel guitar rag and I had it mastered in a week. I played it on and off over the years. BLind Fury's: Dwight Cliff
Blind Fury's: Dwight Cliff The first time I saw a local rock band with a really great drummer, I shifted my focus from stringed instruments to percussive instruments, mainly drums. I started playing drums for the next few years. During this time I met a friend who played lead guitar like nothing I had ever heard. He was way ahead of his time, and from that moment I knew what my true passion was. I wanted to play lead guitar. I located a good axe, a Gibson, Les Paul in our local music store and worked all summer to buy it and started teaching myself to play.

1 year later I had put together my first band called Leather. We played extensively through out our local area and had a good following and then broke up as most bands do. I moved out to LA and joined a band called Savage Grace and we recorded a four song EP with one of the songs ending up on Metal Blades Records "Metal Massacre 2" release. I departed Savage Grace and started a new project called Tamerlane , and in a short four month period the band was sitting in the studio with Capitol Records, we were told that we were going to be the next Super Group, unfortunately the singer just could not handle the pressure and quit in the middle of the deal. So I regrouped, with the help of a good friend Kelly Burbank who helped me to form my next project called Prototype.

Prototype was also featured on the Weststar Radio Network, and received nominations for best band, best guitarists, best bassists and best recording production in the LA Rock Awards. During this time Seymour Duncan added my name to their endorsement list with guitarists like Jeff Beck, Billy Gibbons, and Don Henley, just to name a few.

How I achieved being endorsed by Seymour Duncan was during the LA Guitar Show when I played at the Seymour Duncan Booth, that day was like a dream come true. Some of my favorite guitar hero's shook my hand that day, which was a great personal honor. Which now brings me to the present and my latest participation in a band called Blind Fury. This project was put together by my Brother, Eric Cliff.
